Below is a step-by-step guide to Dry Brushing for Lymphatic Drainage, focused on the face, to support glow, detox, and nervous system regulation. This is not just exfoliation — it’s a ritual of movement, breath, and lymph flow.

✧ What You’ll Need:

dry facial brush (soft bristles, preferably made of natural fibers)
Optional: a body brush for full-body flow
A quiet moment (2–5 minutes is enough)
Clean, dry skin — no balm or oil yet

FACE DRY BRUSHING (Daily or 3–5x/week)

Before You Begin: Take 3 deep belly breaths, set an intention: “I invite movement. I welcome flow.”

Step-by-Step Flow: Always brush in gentle, upward or outward strokes, and in the direction of lymph drainage. Pressure should be light — like you’re sweeping, not scrubbing.

1. Neck (clearing the drainage path)

  • Start just below your ears
  • Brush down the sides of the neck toward the collarbone (5–10 strokes)
  • Then brush from back of neck forward, toward lymph nodes

2. Jawline + Chin

  • Brush from the center of your chin outward toward the ears (5 strokes each side)
  • Follow the jawline upward, staying gentle

3.  Cheeks

  • Sweep from the sides of the nose outward to the temples (use wide strokes). Repeat 5–7 times each side

4. Under Eyes (be extra gentle)

  • Very light strokes from inner corner of the eye to outer corner 
  • Use the tip of the brush or switch to fingertips for this area if preferred

5. Forehead

  • Brush upward from brows to hairline (5 strokes)
  • Then outward from center of forehead to temples (5–7 strokes)

6. Final Neck Sweep

  • Repeat the downward neck strokes to flush everything out

Closing: Place palms over your face, breathe deeply and say softly: “Flow. Glow. Let it go.”

AFTER CARE
